Fun at the Children's Museum...

Today Webb and I took Carter to meet Bridgette and Lanier at the Children's museum. We wanted to get out of the house and this was our best option since it was so cold and yucky outside. We bought a membership earlier this winter and have really enjoyed it. These first few pics are from the Day of Carter's birthday. Bridge and I took the kids to play and then went to lunch at La Baguette. It was Yummy and the kids had a blast!!

LOVES to Slide!!

And these are from today. They really enjoyed the river/stream today. Splashing and catching the boats and "Ish" with their nets and poles. Can't wait until its warm enough for his sand/water table!

Lanier LOVING the water too!! She was soaking wet when she was done!! and Look at what shirt she has on!!! Can't wait to get ours!! Love you guys!!

And today I think Carter's favorite thing was the police car. I think he stood in there for a good 10-15 min and did NOT want out. LOL.

Can't wait to go back!! But hopefully it will warm up soon for playdates at the Park or Zoo!!

Icky, Pupo, and Don Don

Webb laughs when Carter says these names. He says they sound like his little mafia. Really these names stand for Mickey, Pluto and Donald. Since Carter had a Mickey Birthday party he received Lots of Mickey themed toys and he is LOVING them!!! He constantly is playing with his little camper and putting Icky and Pupo "night, night" in their beds. Then he puts Pupo's face to the food on the little table and says "Num, Num". It is ADORABLE!! His other favorite thing to do is to put them in their matching cars. He already knows exactly which character goes to which car. And then he drives them around, making noises like "Mmmmmmmm"

and had to share these pics of this beautiful boy!! I am loving my new lens and all of these candid shots I am able to capture with them!! How sweet is he!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Carter Allen!!!

WOW!! Carter Allen you are a big TWO years old!!! How did it happen so fast? It seems like just yesterday I was visiting you in the NICU at Lebonheur desperately waiting for you to come home. You have accomplished so much in the two years you have been here and I have learned so much from you. You are the most determined and independent child that I have ever seen and don't let anything get in your way of getting what you want. A few weeks ago we celebrated your birthday with a Mickey Birthday party(You LOVE Mickey right now). We had our closest family members and friends here to celebrate. Unfortunately the day before your birthday party you woke up not feeling so well(Runny nose, cough, congestion, and wheezing), so you were not feeling the greatest at your party. I can only imagine it is a little overwhelming having so many people you love in one place at the same time.

Your mom and dad also got you a slide for the backyard. You LOVE to slide. Can't wait to play with that and your sand and water table once it warms up outside! You are going to have a blast!!

You were NOT a fan. You got a tiny piece of icing on your finger and you kept saying "Uh Oh, and Off". After that you were done. I think this had to do with you not feeling well and not eating. It was delicious though!! You were happy once you got your keys back :)
