The last two weeks.....

So these are totally out of order, but I don't feel like fixing them, ha. But here is what has been going on in the last couple of weeks. I having been using pretty much only my phone bc Cohen has been sick and has not let me put him down for more than a few mins at a time.

helping with laundry, playing the IPAD in the ER, brother time, adorable new outfit!!
sleeping cohen. I HATE waking him up to pick up Carter from school., new TV, someone has learned to take his pants off at nap, lol Cohen starting to get get sick.
Carter spiked a fever yesterday while I was at work. As soon as I go home it has spiked to 101.5. With being less than a month from our last shunt revision it meant we would be heading straight to the ER to check for a shunt infection. After Flu swab, CBC, CMP, CRP, urinalysis, urine cultures and a shunt tap they let us come home to wait out the culture results(only after I completely begged and used the I am a peds-onc nurse)- I knew it would come in to use sometime. SOOOO happy they let us come home. Today he was acting much better and fever free. We should have the results back in a day or so(PRAYING for negative cultures!!)
Carter being silly, Dr. Boop post op check up(hide & seek in the waiting room), freezing rain
Cohen now more sick. Not sleeping much, very fussy and clingy(poor baby), first big boo boo. He pulled up on the highchair and slipped and hit his face. He is a wild man and I am sure there will be so many of these in his future. new desk for Webb's office that he made from our left over counter tops, and carter started full day school which means he is exhausted in the evenings!!
Pizza picnic in the living room, Cohen and mom antique shopping.
muffins with mom, Cohen on our weekly grocery trip, Carter being funny, First full day report. He has slept every day so far. WOOP WOOP
#handyhubby, baths with our bestie Lou and perfect family nights with the treadwells, clean car, outside family fun in the beautiful weather.
dinner with friends, cohen LOVES swinging and Carter LOVES pushing, fighting over trains, and playing in the cabinets. I am in for it with these two ;)
bath time cutie, webb's final product, our counters are stained!, more bath fun and cookies
Cohen STILL not feeling well. I am not liking this cold weather this year!!, Dr. appt with Dr. Sawyer and great report for Carterman., Dr. office fun
This is a little of what our last two weeks looked like. Hopefully the next two weeks will not be filled with sick babies, ER trips or Dr. visits. Looking forward to chilling out and hanging with my babies!!!

my cuties

This week was filled with lots of play time inside. We had a few playdates and dinner dates with our friends and lots of family time since Webb was off today and I was off all weekend. Three days together never happens!!! Here are a few pics of our cuties from this week.
Cohen's absolute favorite thing to do at the moment is play peekaboo in the curtains.
OMG I could eat him and those sweet cheeks!!
Look at that little stinker smirk!
This week Carter has been working on matching, puzzles and coloring. He loves sitting at his little desk.

His incision is healing really great and its crazy how fast his hair is growing!
Can't you tell that he loves having his picture taken, lol.
 hehehehe
trying out a little different processing.
My sweet boy is turing into a toddler. So sad how fast it is happening. Has really started standing in the last couple of weeks.

and yesterday I decided to be brave during their naps and sneak in for some photos. I can't believe that I was able to pull it off without waking them up. I am SOOOOO glad I did!! These are some of my absolute favorite pics!!
Carter pulls his shirt up and rubs his stomach when he is falling asleep.
 he is beautiful!!!
Here you can see his Mace and Mitrofanoff. His Mitrofanoff is where we cath him through his belly button. and his Mace is the spot right by his pants. That is what we Cath to irrigate his bowels. Having these procedures done was one of the best decisions we have ever made for Carter and our family. It will give him the best quality or life and independence later on.
Then I snuck in Cohen's room. Just a couple of days ago I broke Cohen of his sleep sack. I Love how he lays on top and cuddling his lovey and has his little booty in the air. PRECIOUS!! He also got his first big booboo on his face this week. He has been climbing and pulling up on everything. He decided to pull up on his highchair and fell and scratched his face. Poor thing. Carter keeps asking about it and was very concerned that he was hurt. Sweet brother.
Can't wait to see what this week has in store. hopefully it will start to warm up more soon so that we can play more outside.

December happenings...

I already posted some of the IG photos from these days, but I wanted to share the others now that I uploaded them from my camera.
Carter had a Christmas program for his preschool at Farmington. They sang several Christmas songs and had a few skits. Carter was hilarious. He literally sat there the entire time they were singing and did not move. He is not a fan of music and usually cries, so I am just happy he didn't shed a tear! Maybe he will care a little more next year!
They also had a book exchange afterwards.
and I also snapped a few photos of Carter with this Teacher and assistants. He Loves them and all of his friends at school!
 Silly boy.
Later that week we Bridgette, Busie and I took the kids to our yearly Enchanted Forest trip to see Santa. Crazy that just a few years ago we started this tradition with a couple of 9 month old babies. Now Five kids later its a little bit more of a challenge(but we wouldn't want it any other way!!)
Here are a few snapshots of our day.
Carter loves looking at all the animals.
The trains are the biggest hit for all the kids!!
and the Famous Santa pics. Cohen was clearly not a fan, lol.
but Carter was VERY into Santa this year!!
and this is what it looks like trying to get a photo of the five together, lol.
Just a few photos from Christmas morning. Most were taken with my iPhone as I was exhausted our ER trip the night before. and the day we came home after the first shunt revision. sweet boys!
Hopefully I will be totally caught up now :)
