WOW!! Carter Allen you are a big TWO years old!!! How did it happen so fast? It seems like just yesterday I was visiting you in the NICU at Lebonheur desperately waiting for you to come home. You have accomplished so much in the two years you have been here and I have learned so much from you. You are the most determined and independent child that I have ever seen and don't let anything get in your way of getting what you want. A few weeks ago we celebrated your birthday with a Mickey Birthday party(You LOVE Mickey right now). We had our closest family members and friends here to celebrate. Unfortunately the day before your birthday party you woke up not feeling so well(Runny nose, cough, congestion, and wheezing), so you were not feeling the greatest at your party. I can only imagine it is a little overwhelming having so many people you love in one place at the same time. Here are the adorable decorations and Yummy Food:

Your mom and dad also got you a slide for the backyard. You LOVE to slide. Can't wait to play with that and your sand and water table once it warms up outside! You are going to have a blast!!

You were NOT a fan. You got a tiny piece of icing on your finger and you kept saying "Uh Oh, and Off". After that you were done. I think this had to do with you not feeling well and not eating. It was delicious though!! You were happy once you got your keys back :)
